Examines the biochemical basis of energy metabolism, physiological processes in digestion and uptake, and the biochemical transformation of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in the human body. The emphasis is on expanding the students' understanding of physiology.Prerequisite: BIO SCI 98 and (BIO SCI E109 or PHRMSCI 120) Online Course.
