SOC SCI 197 (2.0 units) – Session I
Students apply classroom knowledge through research projects in nonprofit agencies (local, state, and government) and the private sector. They pose solutions to agency-posed questions. Students gain field experience through 50 hours (for 2 units) or 100 (for 4 units). Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the Lower-Division Writing requirement. Grading Option: Pass/no pass only.
