ART 100 (4.0 units) – Session I
This course is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop. This course introduces and emphasizes the use of tools and techniques designed to help one develop a proficiency in Photoshop and image development. The course will cover some introductory visual design principles and encourage experimentation and exploration of the tools that Photoshop offers. Assignments, in class tutorials and exercises are designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the Toolbar, Options bar, Layers Palette as well as other functions of the program. The nature of assignments will be split among those concerning graphic design and photographic editing. This class will be using Photoshop Creative Cloud.
