Session II
Introduction to combinatorics including basic counting principles, permutations, combinations, binomial coefficients, inclusion-exclusion, derangements, ordinary and exponential generating functions, recurrence relations, Catalan numbers, Stirling numbers, and partition numbers. Prerequisite: (MATH 2B or MATH 5B or MATH 7B or AP Calculus BC) and MATH 13. AP Calculus BC with a minimum score of 4. MATH 13 with a grade of C- or better.
